MA3103 Math MCAS EPP
Grade 12
This course fulfills the MCAS EPP requirement for students scoring below 238 on the MCAS Math assessment.  Successful completion of this 4th math course allows a student to demonstrate competency for consideration to earn a full high school diploma endorsed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Course Description:
MCAS EPP Math is a full year course designed for students on an Educational Proficiency Plan.  The course will cover standards from the High School Model Courses of the 2011 Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.  Topics include Algebra and Functions, Number and Quantity, Statistics and Probability and Geometry.

Students are required to bring a notebook, calculator, completed assignments and pencil to class daily.

Grades are determined by quizzes, classwork, homework, participation and final exam.

Extra Help: Thursdays after school from 2:00-3:00 

Currently, we are working on a variety of exponent topics.
